We are scaling rapidly and seeking to add hunters to help build and evolve our platform, specifically to grow our firm’s deal flow. This role requires a combination of both Sales and Investment skills.


Acquire new clients

Your main objective is to sign up new clients.

  • Source and qualify prospective clients just before they are about to begin raising capital or seeking an M&A transaction.

  • Reachout and introduce our firm to your prospective clients.

  • Evaluate the prospective clients to determine if they are a fit to our firm and their match to what our network of investors are looking to invest in (e.g., market size, segmentation, technical, competitive, financial)

  • Present and “sell” the prospective clients you bring in our commitment committee. 

  • Full ownership of the sales process, and you’ll be expected to manage these from start to finish

Expand Our Network

Our network powers everything we do. Our deal flow specialists continuously build authentic relationships with startup founders, investors, and industry influencers and experts, to ensure we maintain unique access to critical intelligence and deal flow.

  • Consistently map your network to Foundry’s broader network of stakeholders in order to creatively connect the dots and complete high-value connections

  • Systematically grow and leverage your network to stay on the edge of the industry, technology, and cultural trends that will impact our Members

  • Identify new (plus help manage existing) relationships with key strategic partners including, incubators, startup studios, academic institutions, etc.

  • Proactively provide ideas about how to further organize and expand our expert network


  • Identify and attend industry conferences, meetups, social events, incubators/accelerator demo days


  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a robust deal flow, by constantly sourcing, meeting, and assessing compelling and relevant startups; leveraging his/her outbound orientation and ecosystem relationships

  • Demonstrated ability to sale, negotiate and close deals with prospective clients

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong connections with founders, influencers, executives, and engineers

  • Hunger, drive, and passion for building and growing a next-generation investment banking advisory firm

  • Track record of successful project management; able to handle multiple projects with varying constituents

  • High degree of ownership of work product and exceptional attention to details

  • An inquisitive and analytical nature, with the ability to quickly gather and synthesize information, draw appropriate conclusions, and make value-added recommendations

  • Able to bring a proactive, creative, “can do,” resourceful and entrepreneurial approach

  • High-growth technology startup and/or large technology-driven software or enterprise experience desirable

  • Some investment banking, venture capital, and/or management consulting experience desirable


  • Passion about helping entrepreneurs succeed

  • Ability to add value to a startup across a broad variety of contexts

  • Thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and can be accretive to the team and the firm's mission on day one


  • Interact with top entrepreneurs, and startups across Europe

  • Learn about all facets of technology and industries in which we invest

  • This is an opportunity to join a growing, entrepreneurial company at the “ground floor” with lots of headroom for growth. This person will work directly with the firm’s leadership team. 


Full-time or Part-time (>50%), but as an independent consultant and compensation is commission based.
